A British man has pleaded guilty(认罪) to “recklessly(鲁莽地)” causing the death of his son, 10 weeks after the toddler(幼儿) fell from a fourth-floor hotel window in Cyprus.

Josh Foster, 37, who appeared before(出庭) the district court(地区法院) of Paphos on Tuesday, accepted the charge of causing the accident through a “rash(轻率的), reckless and dangerous act” on the first day of a family holiday(家庭度假) near Paphos on 12 July.

The case was adjourned(延期) until 5 October, when the judge ordered the man to return for sentencing(宣判). Under the maximum penalty he could face up to(面临) four years in prison.
