Anne and Jane* were 10 years old when a member of staff connected with their British military school in Bünde(英国在德国设立的军人子女学校), Germany is alleged(据称的，涉嫌的) to have singled them out(把她们单独挑出来) and sexually abused them.

Now in their 50s, the women say he coerced(胁迫，强迫) them into keeping silent, and for decades they had only discussed their experiences with one another. “He said if we ever told anybody, then our fathers would lose their jobs and they would be kicked out of the army(被赶出军队),” Jane said. “Being two young 10-year-old girls who basically followed their fathers around the world, their jobs were our lives.(作为两个基本上跟着父亲满世界跑的10岁小女孩，他们的工作就是我们的全部生活。)”

But five years ago, with her father retired from military service, Anne found out the man was still alive and decided to come forward(站出来，主动出面) to report the alleged abuse. She said she did so in the hope that she and Jane would finally see justice(讨回公道，得到正义).
