The Ukrainian president had earlier described an attack involving five missiles on Monday as “particularly vile(卑鄙的,恶劣的)”. He emphasised that receiving intelligence(情报) from Ukraine’s western allies “helps saves lives(有助于拯救生命), and this is one of the most critical issues”.

“This is precisely what helps prevent people from being killed(防止人们被杀) – when there is an early warning about ballistic missiles,” he wrote on social media. He did not apportion(分配,归咎) blame for the lack of warning, calling it unfortunate(不幸的).
