A British man has been fined(被罚款) €3,000 (£2,500) after his two-year-old son fell 10 metres (33ft) to his death(坠落10米身亡) from the fourth-floor(四楼的) window of a hotel in Cyprus.

The 37-year-old appeared at Paphos district court on Friday for sentencing(量刑、宣判) having pleaded guilty to a charge of(对某项指控认罪) causing death through a reckless(轻率的、不顾后果的), rash(鲁莽的、冲动的) or dangerous act.
